the easiest way to do this is off course to just put an X in front of the plist file name, or delete them, but be warned, once you delete them you have to use the k9u installer to rewrite them. the best way is to sudo cp -p to a new location and delete the previous ones. maschine and updates use this file to find, add, or update the libraries. it would be best to simply move them into a folder you make and call it "preferences disabled", so you and return them is you wish to use it again. You also have to go into the main, not user, library preferences and remove these files. NI should have included a library manager, but you can make one yourself.
